Partners Group offers investors access to the listed real estate market
Partners Group, the Switzerland-based alternative asset manager, offers investors access to the attractive asset class listed real estate through Partners Group Listed Investments – Listed Real Estate, a global portfolio of listed real estate companies diversified by regions, strategies and sectors. The investment universe consists of companies listed on recognized stock exchanges which invest in real estate assets and whose revenues stem predominantly from real estate activities.
Despite large corrections over the last twelve months, the listed real estate asset class has shown an attractive outperformance compared to global equity markets over a three -, five- and ten-year investment horizon and therefore makes a compelling investment story. In addition, the large investable universe, moderate correlation with other asset classes as well as interesting dividend yields in combination with the potential for capital gains further underline the attractiveness of listed real estate as an asset class.
Dr. Henning Eckermann, Partner and head listed alternative investments, comments, “The interesting investment opportunities this asset class offers generate substantial return potential for investors. In the current market environment, the fall in stock prices of global listed real estate companies has led to attractive valuations of many companies often at high discounts to NAVs. In addition, our exposure to Asia and emerging markets reflects the long-term growth potential observed in these markets.”
The Partners Group Listed Investments – Listed Real Estate fund provides investors with access to the advantages of this asset class, pursuing a global approach and active asset allocation coupled with a fundamental bottom-up analysis which allows for the exploitation of market discrepancies. The fund is accessible to all investors with a minimum subscription of only EUR 100 and offers daily liquidity at fund NAV, thereby eliminating a number of the traditional hurdles associated with investments in the private real estate asset class. The fund has been registered for public distribution in Switzerland, Germany and Luxembourg and offers investors an additional option for accessing the listed alternative investment market following the Partners Group Listed Private Equity and Listed Infrastructure funds.
