Infrastructure Investor: 'Scaling sustainably'

Esther Peiner, our Co-Head Private Infrastructure Europe, and Ed Diffendal, Co-Head of Private Infrastructure Americas, spoke with Infrastructure Investor about the investment rationale for data centers, and how they sit at the crossroads of two Partners Group giga themes: digitization and decarbonization. Esther explains that Partners Group is more active on the platform expansion side of the data center opportunity set, where driving strategy with a focus on energy and sustainability considerations can positively differentiate assets. In the interview, Esther and Ed also talk about how investment opportunities differ in Europe versus the US.
