Corporate sustainability
At Partners Group, we recognize that our people are our most important asset. We aim to attract and retain unique and diverse professionals by offering them a great place to work and the opportunity to grow, both professionally and personally.
- Training and development
We are committed to continuous learning and substantially invest in the training and development of our employees. We offer our professionals a number of in-house training and development programs.
- PG Academy:
PG Academy is Partners Group's internal learning and development platform. The platform makes targeted business and technical skills training, as well as leadership development programs, available across various levels group-wide. It offers module-based skills and trainings in a number of areas including project management, communication, presentation, interview skills, unconscious bias and languages. To support the firm's leaders, the platform also offers leadership development programs across three levels (Emerging Leaders, Experienced Leaders, Senior Leaders). - Mentoring Program:
Our mentoring program gives employees the chance to find a more senior and experienced professional within the firm who can act as a personal mentor. It is a dedicated program designed to connect experienced senior professionals with the firm's future leaders. - PG Coaching Program:
Our PG Coaching Program offers a one-year structured coaching relationship to high potential, mid-level professionals identified as Emerging Leaders. The program is focused on building the skills necessary for these professionals to continue emerging as valuable contributors and leaders at Partners Group by matching them with (senior) members of management who can offer them focused one-on-one coaching. - Analyst Program:
Our Analyst Program is a unique opportunity for recent university graduates with top credentials to launch an exciting and challenging career with a leading private markets investment manager. Program participants rotate across our investment teams as well as within our client solutions and portfolio management teams, interacting with colleagues from each of our 20 global offices. As a comprehensive multi-year program, the Analyst Program is designed to equip participants with the financial and analytical skills required to succeed in private markets investment through a mixture of education and on-the-job experience. - Diversity Summer Internship Program:
Our Diversity Summer Internship Program is a unique opportunity for female university students with top credentials to experience a taste of the exciting career on offer at a world-leading private markets investment manager. The 8- to 10-week summer internship is open to top-performing female undergraduate or postgraduate students with diverse backgrounds in the final stages of their studies. The internship provides participants with hands-on experience and project work in one or two of our investment or value creation teams. Successful program participants are invited to apply for a permanent role at Partners Group. - Apprenticeships (Switzerland only):
We offer interesting and practice-oriented apprenticeships as part of the Swiss education system's apprenticeship program for school-leavers. These provide young apprentices with the chance to work in an exciting, fast-paced and diverse company, and to gain an insight into our global and dynamic business. We have professional, qualified and motivated vocational trainers, who guide and support our apprentices throughout their time with us. - Performance and career development reviews:
We evaluate individual development through both a quantitative goal-setting process and a qualitative 360° feedback process to ensure our employees achieve their personal and professional goals. These performance and development reviews take place for all employees at Partners Group, regardless of their level of seniority.
Performance Process
The Performance Process is a goal-setting and measurement system used to better plan an individual's work priorities throughout the year and to evaluate individual performance. Group-level goals are set in January and broken down into departmental goals, team goals and individual goals. An interim assessment of progress is conducted mid-year, while full-year achievements are measured in a year-end review.
Development Process
The Development Process is a 360° feedback process that focuses on the personal development of employees over time. The dimensions measured are qualitative and place increasing emphasis on leadership capabilities with increasing seniority.
