IT Services is responsible for providing all information technology services that enable Partners Group to achieve its mission and better serve its clients with excellence. We deliver resilient, highly available and secure IT services and infrastructure, acting as a trusted Technology partner for Partners Group employees and IT service providers.  

As Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will ensure that Partners Group’s core IT infrastructure is robust, secure and scalable, with a particular focus on identity, messaging and foundational services such as Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Active Directory, DNS, PKI and Exchange Online. You will act as a technical leader within these domains, contributing to both day-to-day operations and strategic infrastructure initiatives.

You will have the following responsibilities:

Engineer:

• Design, deploy and maintain Hybrid Active Directory infrastructure, including Domain Controllers, Group Policies and Entra ID integration services with a strong focus on security and resilience
• Design, deploy and maintain internal and external DNS infrastructure, based on Active Directory and AWS Route 53
• Design, deploy and maintain Enterprise Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), including lifecycle management and security hardening
• Design and maintain enterprise messaging platforms based on Exchange Online
• Design, manage and harden Windows Server platforms, including deployment, configuration and troubleshooting

Automate:

• Develop and maintain automation solutions to streamline infrastructure deployment and operations, primarily using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, Service-Now and AI-enabled solutions.
• Identify and drive opportunities for automation to reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and increase operational efficiency
• Implement automated monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively detect and resolve infrastructure issues

Support & Collaborate

• Provide third level (L3) support for complex infrastructure-related incidents and service requests.
• Work closely with network, security, application, and other IT teams, to ensure seamless integration and reliable operation of infrastructure services

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related quantitative field
• 5+ years of experience in a senior IT infrastructure engineering role, ideally in a multinational and/or financial services environment
• Proven experience contributing to and leading infrastructure-focused projects
• Demonstrated experience in leveraging AI-based solutions within IT operations or engineering workflows
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server administration, deployment, hardening, and troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of PKI concepts, architectures, and enterprise implementations
• Solid knowledge of networking and information security fundamentals
• Good understanding and practical experience with ITSM / ITIL-based operating models
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple initiatives, and solve complex technical problems
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain and advocate technical solutions to senior stakeholders
• Strong critical thinking skills to understand business pain points and propose effective solutions
• Relevant Industry certifications are an advantage
