The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a strong interest in building a career within the private wealth/private equity industry, preferably have 2-3 years of relevant experience (new graduates will also be considered). For this position we are looking for someone who works well in a very entrepreneurial organization and someone who possesses strong networking & organization skills.
The successful candidate should have the following profile:
• Bachelor's degree (MBA, Master's and/or CFA a plus) with strong academic background in finance, accounting, economics or a relevant discipline
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience (preferably in the private markets industry) in business development, consulting, sales & marketing, relationship management. Previous experience within the fund selection and institutional sales departments in Private Banking, Wealth Management, or Private Markets, is a plus.
• Ability to demonstrate passion for private markets/private wealth, entrepreneurship, and collaboration through relevant work experience.
• Familiarity with alternatives with a focus on semi-liquid products, mutual funds and close-ended products would be a distinct advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong relationship management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate in a polished, professional manner
• Attention to detail, extremely organized, and commitment to excellence. Able to problem solve with a client-focused mindset
• Responsive and willing to work to tight deadlines in a challenging environment
• Proficiency in business English – both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in business Mandarin is a must
