Anela Bouthers

Anela is a Senior Team Head Structuring in the Structuring Solutions business unit, based in Zug. She brings over 20 years of experience in private markets, having worked as a senior private equity lawyer with Linklaters and subsequently as a partner with CMS in London, advising large sponsors such as CVC, Blackstone and Advent. Anela was Global Head of Investment Legal at Partners Group between 2019 and 2021 and returned to the firm in her current role in 2026, after several years as General Counsel with another private markets manager and subsequently a prominent Zurich-based family office. Anela holds an LL.B (Hons.) from the University of Law in Bucharest and completed a senior leadership program with IMD Business School in Lausanne. She is admitted as a solicitor in England & Wales.
