Joe Newell is part of the Private Equity Health and Life business unit, based in Zug. Joe brings 30 years of experience in the biotechnology and life sciences industry. Most recently, Joe was Chief Executive Officer of a venture capital-backed start-up focused on stealth cell therapy. Prior to this, he held senior leadership roles at Atara Biotherapeutics as CTO/COO and served in global operational positions at Alexion, a subsidiary of AstraZeneca, and Amgen. Joe brings proven expertise in scaling innovative platforms, driving operational excellence, and leading transformative growth initiatives.
