Joshua Hartz is the Global Head of Special Opportunities and is part of the Special Opportunities business unit, based in Sydney. He has 20 years of investing experience across North America, Europe, and Asia, with senior roles at Bain Capital, Anchorage Capital Group, Shearwater Capital, and Goldman Sachs. At Bain Capital, he was a Partner in the Special Situations division, where he led high-profile deals including the formation of Vinarchy Wines through the merger of Accolade Wines with Pernod Ricard Wines and the buyout of Virgin Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics-Economics and Psychology from Wesleyan University.
