Michael Longman

Managing Director

Michael Longman is a Managing Director and is part of the Private Equity Goods & Products Business Unit, based in Denver. Mike has nearly four decades of experience in assessing, acquiring, integrating, growing and managing businesses. He began his career at McKinsey & Company where he eventually was the co-lead partner for the Business-to-Business and Education practices in North America. He then spent 21+ years at Eaton where he led functions such as sales, marketing, global product management, strategy and M&A, and served as the President and General Manager of businesses in the data center, residential building and power electronics industries in both North America and Europe/Middle East/Africa. Mike graduated magna cum laude with an AB in Applied Math and Economics from Brown University and holds an MBA degree from Harvard Business School.
