Our Private Infrastructure Asia team sat down with Infrastructure Investor to discuss Partners Group’s decarbonization investment activity across the APAC region. This included the firm’s exit from CWP Renewables, a vertically integrated renewable energy business in Australia, and investment in Sunsure Energy, a leading renewable energy and decarbonization solutions platform in India. In this article, Andrew Kwok, Nicholas Kuys, and Luv Parikh explain how Partners Group’s thematic investing approach enabled the team to transform CWP from a wind project into a renewables platform and also build conviction around Sunsure Energy’s future growth prospects.
