Founded in 2018, Exus Renewables North America owns, develops, repowers, and manages renewable energy assets in the US, contributing to decarbonization efforts across the country. Exus also provides third party asset management services for wind, solar, and battery storage assets, including technical, operational, and financial management. The company currently owns more than 2.5 GW of renewable energy assets and manages over 2.2 GW for third party clients.

Thematic

Exus Renewables North America is set to benefit from multiple thematic trends including increased demand for energy by data centers, driven by the race to power AI; the rise in demand for clean energy; and a growing emphasis from corporates to offset carbon footprints as part of decarbonization goals. Through its asset management business, Exus has a strong platform from which to expand its portfolio and capitalize on these tailwinds.

Business building

Partners Group is working with Exus Renewables North America’s management team on a value creation plan that involves transforming the company into a leading independent power producer (IPP) focused on acquiring, developing, and operating renewable energy projects in the US and Canada. Key initiatives include expanding its portfolio of utility-scale projects, making strategic acquisitions, and investing in operations.
